Uji Efek Anti-Inflamasi dan Analgesik Infusa Daun Senggani (Melastoma malabathricum L.)
Abstrak
Empirically senggani leaves have the ability as an anti-inflammatory and analgesic. This study aimed to examine the effects of anti-inflammatory and analgesic of the senggani leaves infusion. In the anti-inflammatory test using Winter methods, rats were divided into 5 groups: negative control group given aquadest, positive control given diclofenac sodium 1,8 mg/200 g bw, the test group given the senggani leaves infusion 2,8 mL/200 g bw with concentration of 10%, 20% and 40% after 30 minutes of induction by carrageenan 1%, 0,2 mL/200 g bw. Analgesic test using Sigmund method, mice were divided into 5 groups: negative control group given aquadest, positive controls were given diclofenac sodium of 0,26 mg/20 g bw, the test group given the senggani leaves infusion of 0,4 mL/20 g bw with concentration of 10%, 20% and 40% after 30 minutes induction by 3% of glacial acetic acid 0,2 mL/20 g bw. From the results of one-way ANOVA senggani leaves infusion at 2,8 mL/200 g bw with concentration of 10%, 20% and 40% have anti-inflammatory effects and the senggani leaves infusion at a dose 0,4mL/20g weight with a concentration of 10%, 20% and 40% have an effect as an analgesic. Senggani leaves infusion at 2,8 mL/200 g bw with concentration of 10%, 20% and 40% have anti-inflammatory effects lower than diclofenac sodium and infusion of senggani leaves at dose 0,4 mL/20 g bw with concentration of 10%, 20% and 40% have a lower analgesic effect than diclofenac sodium. It can be concluded that the increasing of senggani leaves infusion dose does not provide the increasing effect as an anti-inflammatory and analgesic.
